Sweet Inspirations Gains New Board Member
A big congratulations to Kemberly Mauricio, who recently accepted a position on the board of Sweet Inspirations—a local nonprofit doing some truly heartwarming work! More than just a candy store, Sweet Inspirations is an inclusive organization that provides vocational training and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual challenges. Kemberly is excited to help expand their presence in Milford and nearby communities while supporting their mission to empower through opportunity. 🍬💙
Franklin's Scott Mason Heading Towards a Record Career
Scott Mason, a standout pitcher in the Rhode Island-Massachusetts Senior Baseball League, is just seven wins away from reaching 100 career wins. At 62, he's already the league's all-time leader in wins, dominating in a league made up of former college players and ex-minor league and major league athletes. A Franklin native, Mason had a successful career pitching for Franklin High School, the University of Dayton, and Dean College. He’s on track to be inducted into the league's Hall of Fame and will pitch on Opening Day, April 26 at 9 a.m. at Cranston Stadium in Cranston, RI.
