Wednesday, October 7 – Milford Job Fair

The Milford Job Fair is happening Wednesday, October 7th from 10:00 AM to Noon at the Milford Youth Center in Milford. Local employers from a variety of industries will be on hand with current job openings, and some may even conduct interviews on the spot. The event is free and open to all job seekers.

Wednesday, October 7 – Holliston Nonprofit Fair

Learn more about the organizations making a difference around Holliston on Wednesday, October 7th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Upper Town Hall, 703 Washington Street in Holliston. The first-ever Holliston Nonprofit Fair brings local organizations together under one roof, giving residents an opportunity to learn about their missions, volunteer opportunities and ways to become more involved in the community.

Saturday, October 10 – Medway Trunk or Treat

Medway's Trunk or Treat is happening Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 AM to Noon at Medway Parks and Recreation on Holliston Street in Medway. Bring the kids in costume for a morning of Halloween fun, decorated vehicles, plenty of treats and a chance to vote for your favorite decorated trunk.

Saturday, October 10 – Mendon Lions Annual Craft Fair

The Mendon Lions Annual Craft Fair is happening Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Henry P. Clough Elementary School in Mendon. Spend the day browsing local crafters and vendors during this community event organized by the Mendon Lions.

Saturday, October 10 – Medway Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade

The Medway Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade is happening Saturday, October 10th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Medway. Dress up your four-legged friend and join other local dogs and their owners for an afternoon of costumes and Halloween fun.

Friday, October 16 – Yellow Tulip Project Hope Garden

The Yellow Tulip Project Hope Garden planting is happening Friday, October 16th at 9:00 AM at Uxbridge High School. Community volunteers will plant 500 yellow tulip bulbs to create a lasting garden designed to raise mental health awareness, encourage conversation and spread a message of hope and connection.

Friday, October 16 – Bellingham Women of Today Quarter Auction

The Bellingham Women of Today Quarter Auction is happening Friday, October 16th at the Bellingham Senior Center, with doors opening at 6:00 PM and the auction beginning at 6:30 PM. Shop from local vendors and crafters, bid on items using quarters, and enjoy raffles and snacks, with proceeds supporting scholarships and other local charities.

Saturday, October 17 – Michael's Run 5K

Michael's Run 5K is happening Saturday, October 17th at 8:00 AM beginning on Hayden Rowe Street in Hopkinton. Runners, walkers, families with strollers and participants using wheelchairs come together for this inclusive community tradition supporting the Michael Lisnow Respite Center.

Saturday, October 17 – 7th Annual OLV Trick or Trot 5K

The 7th Annual OLV Trick or Trot 5K is happening Saturday, October 17th from 9:00 AM to Noon at St. Mary's Church in Uxbridge. This family-friendly run and walk winds through the scenic Blackstone Valley, with Halloween costumes encouraged and awards presented to overall and age-group winners.

Saturday, October 17 – Upton Revolutionary War Encampment

Upton's Revolutionary War Encampment is happening Saturday, October 17th from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the Upton Town Common. Step back in time with Revolutionary War reenactors, military drills, period encampments, historical demonstrations, music and a look at everyday life during the 18th century.

Sunday, October 18 – NEMBA Best Dam Ride

The NEMBA Adventure Series Best Dam Ride is happening Sunday, October 18th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at West Hill Dam in Uxbridge. Enjoy a full day of mountain biking with routes for different ability levels, including beginner and social rides along with coach-led rides for kids.

Sunday, October 18 – Scary Scurry 5K & Fun Run

The Scary Scurry 5K and Fun Run is happening Sunday, October 18th at the Children's Museum of Franklin. This family-friendly fundraiser combines a 5K, fun run, costumes and community activities, with prizes for some of the most creative and spooky costumes.

Sunday, October 18 – Grafton Fall Festival

The Grafton Fall Festival is happening Sunday, October 18th in Grafton. This free family celebration features seasonal activities including scarecrow building, pumpkin painting, inflatables, food trucks and an amateur apple pie contest.

Sunday, October 18 – Medway Historical Society Cemetery Walk

Take a walk through local history on Sunday, October 18th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway. The Medway Historical Society's Cemetery Walk introduces visitors to notable people from Medway's past and shares some of the stories behind the community's history. Hot chocolate and donuts will be served afterward, and the event is free.

Saturday, October 24 – Medway Fire Department Open House

The Medway Fire Department Open House is happening Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Medway Fire Department on Milford Street. Bring the family for fire safety activities, demonstrations, station tours, free pizza and snacks, and the Great Pumpkin Drop at noon.

Saturday, October 24 – Ashland FallFest

Ashland FallFest is happening Saturday, October 24th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Corner Spot in Ashland. Celebrate the season with an afternoon of community fun and fall festivities right in the heart of Ashland.

Saturday, October 24 – Legends and Lanterns

Celebrate Uxbridge's 300th anniversary with Legends and Lanterns on Saturday, October 24th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at River Bend Farm in Uxbridge. This special tricentennial event offers an evening celebration at one of Uxbridge's most recognizable historic locations. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th.

Saturday, October 24 – Holliston SEPAC Trunk or Treat

Put on your Halloween costume and head to the Miller/Placentino School parking lots, 235 Woodland Street in Holliston, on Saturday, October 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the Holliston SEPAC Trunk or Treat. The evening begins with a sensory-friendly period from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by the community Halloween celebration. Admission is $5 per child with a $25 family maximum.

Sunday, October 25 – Beat the Clock: Clocker Club 5K

The Beat the Clock Clocker Club 5K Fundraiser is happening Sunday, October 25th at Ashland Middle School. The one-mile Fun Run begins at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K run and walk at 9:00 AM, with proceeds supporting athletic programs at Ashland High School and Ashland Middle School.

Sunday, October 25 – HCA Wicked 5K & Wee Wicked Dash

The HCA Wicked 5K and Wee Wicked Dash are happening Sunday, October 25th at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. The kids' Wee Wicked Dash begins at 9:45 AM, followed by the Wicked 5K at 10:00 AM, with costumes encouraged and proceeds supporting arts programs in the community.

Tuesday, October 27 – Blackstone Town Hall Trick-or-Treat

Blackstone's Annual Town Hall Trick-or-Treat is happening Tuesday, October 27th at Blackstone Town Hall. Bring the kids in costume for candy, Halloween fun and a family-friendly celebration at Town Hall.

Wednesday, October 28 – Downtown Ashland Trick or Treat

Downtown Ashland Trick or Treat is happening Wednesday, October 28th from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in Downtown Ashland. Bring the kids in costume for trick-or-treating and Halloween activities at Town Hall and participating locations throughout downtown.

Friday, October 30 – Blackstone Valley Community Art Show & Halloween Party

The Blackstone Valley Community Art Show Reception and Halloween Party is happening Friday, October 30th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the BVAA Open Sky Uxbridge Community Gallery in Uxbridge. Check out artwork from local artists, meet members of the arts community and enjoy a Halloween-themed reception.

Friday, October 30 – Medway Pumpkin Walk

The Medway Pumpkin Walk is happening Friday, October 30th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Choate Park in Medway. Take an evening walk through a glowing display of carved pumpkins and enjoy some spooky family fun during this Medway Halloween tradition.

Friday, October 30 – Brothers of the Brush Halloween Party

The Brothers of the Brush Halloween Party is happening Friday, October 30th from 7:00 PM to Midnight at The End Zone in Mendon. This 21-plus Halloween party features a costume contest, raffles, a food buffet and cash bar, with proceeds benefiting the Mendon Santa Parade fireworks.

Sunday, November 1 – Harvest Home Festival & 5K Farm Run

Celebrate the season at Community Harvest Project's Brigham Hill Community Farm, 37 Wheeler Road in North Grafton, on Sunday, November 1st beginning at 11:00 AM. The annual Harvest Home Festival includes a 5K farm run through the fields along with a fall festival at the farm. Proceeds support Community Harvest Project's work growing fresh produce for hunger relief and providing nutrition education.

Saturday & Sunday, November 7–8 – St. Brendan Parish 62nd Annual Fall Fair

Spend part of the weekend at the 62nd Annual St. Brendan Parish Fall Fair in Bellingham on Saturday and Sunday, November 7th and 8th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This longtime community tradition returns for its 62nd year with free admission and a full weekend of fall-fair activities.

Saturday, November 21 – Grafton Community Craft Fair

Get some holiday shopping done while supporting the community at the Grafton Community Craft Fair on Saturday, November 21st from 9:00 AM to Noon in Grafton. Local artists and small businesses will be featured, and visitors are encouraged to bring a food donation for the Grafton Food Pantry.
